Why Shi YanHui
Why practice Shaolin Wushu following Master Shi YanHui’s teaching system?
Because he seek the best result, alwaysand for anyone, using very specificpurpose methods.
No doubt it would be much easier to take up one of the better known sports or martial arts. It would probably be the easiest path but not necessarily your path, not the one you are really in need of and which can give you the most.
1500 years of history
There are thousands of “arts” the human being can carry out but very few have solid roots that date back 1500 years. It’s from this very long experience thatShaolin Wushu gains its strength. It is the very reason for which master Daniele teaches the complete original Shaolin Wushu.
This doesn’t mean however, that he follows a rigid scheme, on the contrary, master Daniele makes the most of the method’s potentials in avery flexible way adapting it, when necessary, to the specific characteristics of his pupil, in this way boosting his intrinsic qualities though without ever losing sight of the original meaning of this ancient art.
A martial art which can be inserted in a modern context in which man has forgotten he has the same characteristics of that time and has therefore forgotten who he is.
At times it’s difficult to understand what one really wants and usually one needs some time before the right doors within oneself open, though once they have opened there is a world awaiting beyond that doorstep and one can really begin to “see” properly.
The sense organs are constantly being deceived by appearance, and as a consequence one is suffocated and “used” by material objects.
Do you want to broaden your abilities and perceptions?
Do you want to discover your peculiarities and manage them?
Do you want to train in a new way and enjoy it?
Here you can do this.
The Shaolin Wushu movements develop a unique and profound coordination of the body, as well as enriching it with a great balancing ability (strengthening, softening and at the same time making the body quicker) they create a harmonious link of the three internal levels, which can be briefly summarised in Mind (rational, analogical and perceptive sphere), Heart (where our emotions and conscience lie) and Dantian (abdomen, the heart of transformation and of sensations).
It’s like calming the waters of a lake, once it has become smooth and clear, one can spot the jewel hidden beneath its surface which is now within reach and ready to shine.
The fact that this wisdom have reached modern times, after having matured for 1500 years, demonstrates its immense and unchanging value.
